This thin profile features a 20.0mm flange width and a short 10.4mm depth, making it ideal for installing 8mm wide LED strip lights in very tight areas. To install, carve a groove into the furniture and then recess the channel entirely into it. This gives the lights a clean, flush-mount look without the bulkier lights protruding out. The profile’s built-in tilted design sends the light out, brilliantly lighting up the inside of the cabinet. It works great for closet doors, the edges of fine display cases, or thin shelves. Easy Installation in 5 Steps
- Use a router to make a groove in your cabinet door or panel that is 12.5 mm wide and 8 mm deep.
- Cut the aluminum profile and frosted diffuser to the length you want.
- Fit the channel into the groove you made by pressing it in or glueing it in.
- Put your 8mm LED strip into the aluminum channel to make sure it stays in place.
- Put on the end caps and snap on the diffuser cover to finalise the look.
