circular LED profile

A circular LED profile is an extruded aluminum channel processed by bending and formed into a circle shape, designed to hold LED strip lights. It includes a Polycarbonate LED diffuser cover (or silicone diffuser) to shape and soften the light output, creating a ring effect. It is widely used in offices, retail spaces, hotels, and residential interiors, providing both aesthetic appeal and functional lighting.

LED circular profiles can normally be crafted with diameters from 1000mm to 2000mm, or larger. The diameters can be customized to the customer’s specific requirements. So buyers don’t need to worry about the diameter issue.  

The standard finishes are typically anodized aluminum, powder-coated white, or black.  We also offer surface finishes with custom RAL color powder coating.

There are three mounting methods for the circular ring profiles:

Surface Mount: Fixed directly to a ceiling or wall.
Recessed Mount: Installed into a pre-cut groove for a flush appearance.
Suspended Mount: Hung from a ceiling using suspension wires.

Circular ring profiles come in different diameters and finishes, they are widely used in offices, retail displays,  hotel lobbies, exhibition centers, and other spaces requiring high-end lighting.  

Usually, our ring-shaped aluminum profile is sold separately from the LED strip and power supply. This allows flexibility for customers to choose desired light output, color temperature, and drivers. Sometimes, we offer a complete kits.

Circular aluminum LED Profiles support  SMD 2835, SMD 5050, RGB, COB strip lights, and tunable LED strips, allowing for customized lighting effects in various applications.

Making large ring-shaped light profiles involves joining several curved parts together. The visibility of these connection points, depends on both the manufacturing quality and the installation process. While manufacturers aim for very precise parts to minimize gaps, lines at the joints can still sometimes be noticeable. Some manufacturers use a single, long silicone diffuser over the LEDs to conceal the joints in the ring structure itself, and using fewer pieces for the diffuser also results in a cleaner, more continuous appearance overall.

First, switch off the power before cleaning. Use a dry soft microfiber cloth to clean dust, and use water or a mild, non-abrasive cleaning solution to clean the plastic and metal parts.

Standard circular aluminum profiles are for dry indoor locations. For damp areas or exterior use, you need profiles and LED strips with an appropriate IP  rating (e.g., IP65 or higher) to protect against moisture and dust.
